It is obtained from the “Verdicchio” wine grapes.
Colour is straw-yellow,sometimes with thin green hints that become golden yellow along with ripening .
Bouquet and Taste
Delicate, fresh and persistent fruity and oral aroma, scent of bitter almonds. Taste is dry, delicate, harmonious with a pleasant bitterish aftertaste.
The minimum level allowed by the appellation is 11,5 % vol.
Glass and Service
The glass that best allows to appreciate the avour of this wine, especially notable with young wine, is semiovoidal, narrowing towards the edge, very thin, colourless,with high stem. This wine is to be served at a temperature of 10°-12° C but, if served as an aperitif, the right temperature is 8°-10° C.
